This week, PeakRankings picked the best ski resorts in the Tahoe region for expert terrain. The video below ranks nine ski resorts around Lake Tahoe for their challenge, going from the forgettable mountains to the more formidable ones. Their top five picks include Heavenly, Mt. Rose, Sugar Bowl, Kirkwood, and Palisades Tahoe.
Unsurprisingly, Palisades Tahoe took the top spot. It’s hard to compete with terrain like KT-22, Broken Arrow, and Tamara’s, among many other pistes and chutes.
