After years of planning and construction, Steamboat has unveiled their new trail map. As their Full Steam Ahead project wraps up the remaining construction, Steamboat is preparing to welcome visitors to their fully revamped resort.
The new map has two key new features. Front and center stands the new Wild Blue Gondola. This gondola connects the base area with the top of Sunshine Peak, allowing for a single ride that previous required multiple lifts.
The other exciting feature is the new Mahogany Ridge Express chair. This new chair gives access to Steamboat’s brand new 650 acre terrain expansion. This expansion has added a large portion of black and double black runs to the resort (which was very much lacking in past seasons).
