It was another busy offseason over at Gore Mountain in North Creek, New York, as they added a new intermediate run to Burnt Ridge Mountain.
The new trail, called Backwoods, is a sixty-foot-wide run that has grooming and snowmaking capabilities. The trail starts just below the top terminal of the Burnt Ridge Quad, runs alongside the Barkeater Glades, and ends above the Roaring Brook Bridge at the bottom of The Pipeline run. This new run will make getting to Little Gore Mountain and the Ski Bowl much easier.
This follows the addition of two new quad chairlifts, redesigns of various trails, and snowmaking improvements before the 2021-22 season. Next season will begin the reimagining of the North Creek Ski Bowl, which will include a new high-speed chairlift and lodge.
