The rapidly growing Nordic Valley Ski Resort opened today at 10:00 a.m. MST. They have the Goldrush trail open, and the Apollo chairlift is currently spinning. It should be noted that skiers and riders will need to unload at the Apollo lifts mid-station. The first fifty guests got free donuts, which sounds like a good motivating factor to get the first chair to me.
Nordic Valley will remain open through November 27th and then be closed from November 28 through December 1st to focus on further snowmaking efforts. The new offseason additions, like their five new trails/glades and a beer bar in the old Ski Patrol aid room, will be opening in the relatively near future. Congratulations to Nordic Valley for your record-breaking opening!
