If your weather concerns distill down to where it’s going snowing and where it’s not going snowing, OnTheSnow.com is a fantastic resource for information. Meteorologist Chris Tomer shares with us his 5 day forecast for where the best snow is going to fall:

A high pressure system that has been hanging around for the last 60 days persists out west, driving the jet stream north into Canada leaving places like Colorado and Utah dry. The Cascades in the Pacific Northwest will see a bit of snow at elevation but not a lot compared to averages this time of year. The bulk of snow in the next five days will be in western Canada and eastern Canada.

TOMER’S TAKE: If you want find fresh this week, explore Western Canada. Interior peaks like Banff, Revelstoke and Kicking Horse are good places to start but you may have luck at coastal resorts like Whistler.
