If you haven’t been checking out the Weather Channel and you aren’t from Colorado, there’s a decent chance you don’t know about the unprecedented amount of rain the state has been getting throughout the past month. It’s actually quite incredible, how green the typically brown foothills are right now, but, in some areas of the state, it’s been a good bit terrifying.
Images from June 12 out of Boulder, specifically, are fairly spooky, with severe thunder and hail storms leading to major flooding. Flash flooding is terrifying.ย Make sure to listen to your local weather and take warnings seriously!
This is the moment the woman in the stuck car got out. Luckily she was able to walk away what appears safely. But take this as a reminder, when there is floodingโฆ TURN AROUND DONโT DROWN! @KDVR @channel2kwgn @PinpointWX pic.twitter.com/OHEPjvCugw
