Andes Tower Hills, located in Minnesota opened this past Saturday, making it the first ski area in the Midwest to open for the 2023 – 2024 for ski season.

A million dollars dropped from a helicopter

Czech television personality Kamil Bartoshek, known as Kazma Kazmitch, made good on a promise that captured global attention. In a bold stunt reminiscent of the popular series Money Heist, Bartoshek dropped one million dollars from a helicopter over a vast crowd of enthusiastic participants in the Czech Republic. This audacious act was the result of a commitment he had made to his devoted social media followers.

Bartoshek’s extravagant endeavor began with the announcement of a competition across his various social media platforms. What made this competition unique was his pledge to reward not just one winner, but every individual who took part. Contestants received an email with details about an undisclosed event.

A video on Bartoshek’s YouTube channel showcased the meticulous preparation of the money, with the bills carefully packed into bags, heightening the anticipation among his followers.

Subsequently, these bags were placed inside a substantial metal storage container specifically designed for their aerial journey. As the crowd awaited an exhilarating climax, a helicopter hoisted the container into the air.

For skier Wesley Poe that moment has come. Wesley put down what has to be some of the first turns of the 2023/24 ski season on the road the leads to the summit of Mount Washington in New York’s Adirondack Mountains.

This was apparently Hank’s first time skiing the iconic Corbet’s Couloir.

It’s summertime in Switzerland, but there is still good skiing and riding to be had. And what better way to access the goods than this coin operated lift near Schächental, Switzerland. As you can see in the video below, the lift provides a boost up to some hike accessed terrain that looks amazing.

We have been digging around the internet this morning trying to track down some more info on this lift for you but have not come up with much.

At the postbus line Flüelen-Klausen-Linthal is the stop Spiringen Sticki. From there, the cable car goes up in two sections to over 1500 m above sea level. The mountain station Tristel is the starting point for various hikes. Especially impressive are the hikes on the Schächentaler Höhenweg. 

The cable car is operated during the winter season when the Ratzi ski lift is in operation. During the rest of the time is Jetonbetrieb. Cabin size 
1st section: 3 persons 
2nd section: 4 persons
