Today is January 9th, and Mammoth Mountain, California has officially surpassed last season snowfall total!

A storm dumped 32-44 inches of snow today, and we’ll have to wait to see how much more stacks up tomorrow.

Some forecasts are predicting storm totals could eclipse 90 inches!

At of the time of writing this post, Mammoth has seen 288 inches of total snowfall this season.

The mountain is reporting the deepest base depths of any resort in the world with 155 inches at the main lodge and 215 inches (that’s nearly 18 feet!)ย at the summit.
