GABF Prepares for Pure Madness Group’s Takeover

The craft beer and ski town world is buzzing with excitement as the Great American Beer Festival kicks off this week in Denver Colorado. This year’s event promises to be one of the best and will once again include a major presence from many of our favorite ski town breweries. One such example includes the newly formed Pure Madness Group. Formed less than a year ago, the parent company of Roadhouse Brewing Co. and Melvin Brewing Co., is gearing up for its debut at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). With an impressive lineup of events and collaborations, Pure Madness is set to make a splash in the beer scene and raise funds for a worthy cause.

The Cosmic After Party

Pure Madness Group is teaming up with Maui Brewing, Modern Times, Creature Comforts and Crown & Hops to host the Cosmic After Party on Thursday, September 21st, at the iconic Denver Sports Castle. This vibrant event will not only feature live music from talented artists like Mikey Thunder and Ghost.Wav, but also immersive art installations by Skyline Productions.

Attendees can also expect a fantastic selection of brews from the sponsor breweries, a full bar and even a silent auction. To support relief efforts in Maui, the event will donate 100% of the proceeds from limited-edition event shirts and suggest a minimum donation of $10 per entry.

“Can’t wait to get into acid jams and hip hop with our compadres at Maui, Creature and Crowns, as well as all our friends and fans,” says Colby Cox, co-founder of Pure Madness Group. “We’re gonna kill one bird with two stones: Throw a raging party and raising some money for our ohana on the island.”

Pure Madness Group will have a featured booth at the GABF Convention Center, to showcase their incredible range of beers. With a live DJ setting the mood, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the beloved Melvin Bus and Roadhouse VW Van. The booth will offer a variety of brews from both Roadhouse and Melvin. This includes limited edition favorites like the Pure Madness IPA, a collaboration between the two breweries.

PAIRED Event and Culinary Delights

True to its roots as a food-friendly beer, Roadhouse Brewing Co. and Pure Madness co-founder Gavin Fine, a renowned chef and restaurateur, will be featured as a chef at the annual PAIRED event. This culinary extravaganza will showcase the perfect marriage of beer and cuisine, pushing boundaries and tantalizing taste buds.

“We are excited to be back at GABF and participating in PAIRED again,” notes Fine. “We’re always pushing boundaries and can’t wait to share our latest creations with craft beer lovers and officially introduce them to Pure Madness.”

Pure Madness Takes Over Denver

The fun, however, does not stop there for the Pure Madness Group. They will also be making appearances across Denver throughout the weekend. You can join them at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on Thursday for tap takeover with fellow Wyoming brewery Snake River Brewing. Then, on Friday night, head over to Appaloosa Grill for another unforgettable tap takeover evening with Pure Madness.
