Directed by Steve Jones, Todd Jones and Jon Klaczkiewicz, Stoke the Fire explores the athlete’s evolution within skiing and snowboarding. More importantly, it looks at the joy that they get from the process. Whether you are new to the sport or someone who has been skiing and riding their whole life, we’ve all been there. We’ve all shared in this stoke.

The Stoke comes in so many ways. It can come from a commitment to a new lifestyle and the relationships that are formed as a result. It can come from the sense of accomplishment of riding your first lift and and making it all the way down the mountain without falling. It’s the pure bliss you get from gliding through deep powder. It’s even the nerve-wracking excitement you get from a milestone accomplishment like the scene of the first descent down the 10,869 foot Mt. Nelson that’s been staring Christina Lustenberger in here face her whole life.

“Stoke the Fire is about that pure joy that comes from doing what we love – that internal fire that stems from exploring the mountains, challenging yourself and the creative expression that inspires us all” TGR co-founder Steve Jones said.

The stoke is different for everyone but, whatever your level, it’s there. That’s what brings us back year after year. It’s what makes skiing and snowboarding so special.
