OPENING DAY IS THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25th!
Rejoice New York State skiers and snowboarders, Gore Mountain is set to open this Saturday the 25th. They will be opening with 6 trails and 40 acres of terrain. There’s gonna be a pop-up terrain park and lift tickets will be available at an early season discount:
“We are thrilled to announce that the snow season is finally here! We can’t wait to hit the slopes and enjoy our first rides down the mountain. For the opening weekend, we will be offering lift access on Northwoods Gondola, Adirondack Express, and The North Quad. Intermediate and advanced skiers and riders are welcome to hit the Ruby Run, Tahawus, Showcase, Upper Sleighride, 2b, and The Arena. Be on the look out for a pop-up park near Twister this weekend. Mountain Improvements
MORE SNOWMAKING AT THE SKI BOWL!
For the 2023-24 snow season, we’re adding more snowmaking infrastructure to the Ski Bowl, meaning we’ll be able to make snow on multiple trails simultaneously. We’ll also add snowmaking capabilities for the first time on Moxham and update our snow guns to high-efficiency tower guns on 46er.
NEW BEGINNER LIFT – THE BEAR CUB QUAD!
We’re upgrading our single Bear Cub Poma Lift to a conveyor-load quad. The new lift will bring guests up to a distance of 1912′ on our Lower Sunway trail, a green circle cruiser. This lift will be great for beginners or a warm-up before heading up the mountain.
