Porch Pirates: the worst of the worst. You wait several days, sometimes weeks, for a package to arrive, get the notification that it’s at your doorstep, and boom, it’s nowhere to be found. It doesn’t matter what it is. It could be a television, it could be shampoo. The Porch Pirates don’t care, they just know it’s free. Why anyone thinks it’s okay to nab stuff off other people’s front porch is beyond me.

Expensive items are obviously the worst to have stolen, but when food is stolen, it leaves a specific brutal pit in your stomach. You paid, you waited, you’re hungry, and yet you’ll eat nothing. One Orlando family waited patiently for a large order of Taco Bell only to have it stolen by a rather unusual porch pirate.

A black bear snuck onto the porch of Laidy Gutierrez and Daniel Bula to steal a $45 Taco Bell order dropped off just moments before. The animal took the food, wandered away without a thought, and returned for the drink, spilling it on the walkway out front. The group, including Gutierrez’s daughter, told Fox 35 they knew exactly what happened the second they opened the door to see the food missing.

Oh, and Uber fully refunded the Taco Bell order, despite the fact that they (probably) didn’t have anything to do with the food disappearance.

You can’t even get mad after something like that, can you. That has to just be fate, right? Like what are you going to do at that point? Complain about a rampant bear problem? In Orlando, Florida? Florida does have around 4,000 black bears, so it’s not entirely impossible for something like this to happen, but it’s definitely not where you think of bears hanging out.
